Robert has helped plan and guide safaris and mountain treks across East Africa for over a decade, he’s passion on nature goes back to he’s childhood days as a chairman of wildlife clubs. He has a longstanding record of leadership, program development, and community service.

Alphonce M’mwanda —French, German, Italian & English Safari Guide
Alphonce is a multilingual guide who has over 25 years in he’s belt guiding clients all over Kenya safari circuits, he’s knowledge of wildlife is un-imaginable. Alphonce also boasts a wide knowledge of the coastal strip of Kenya, where he calls home .On safari you can look forward to learning all there is to know about East Africa’s flora and fauna as well as Kenya’s natural history and culture dating back to the colonial days.

Ibrahim Mwangi, Karikuki — Mountain Guide
Ibrahim grew up climbing Mt. Kenya. He has worked as a professional mountain for both Mt. Kenya, Kilimanjaro and Meru as well Mt. Elgon for over 10 years. He has climbed all over East Africa and considers himself a certified Mountain guide with first hand First Aid.

Alex Simitei — Safari Driver
Alex is a Masai private safari driver guide. He has over a decade’s worth of experience with some of the most outstanding safari and adventure companies in Kenya. On your safari, Alex will provide an interpretive experience and will answer any questions you may have. His skills include, but are not limited to: speaking fluent English and native Swahili, knowledge of Africa’s flora and fauna, and is an exceptional teacher of he’s local Masai culture

Patric received a diploma of wildlife management through Utalii College of Nairobi. Patric has since acquired a decade of guiding experience, making him an extremely knowledgeable and valuable driver. Patric has been part of the Matea safaris team for over 9 years, providing our guests with safe, informative, and high-quality safaris. Patric speaks fluent English, Spanish, Italian and his native Swahili. Evans also boasts a wide knowledge of the Mt. Kenya region which to date forms a wider population of the Kenyan community.
